My own blog! Wow!
I've been enjoying and learning about computers for years. Now my chance to express my thoughts, dreams and rants on my personal computer and publish them. Maybe I'll never post again? Everyday? Only time will tell. But 'can't' never tried.
Many people online have questioned me about Cantnever. It seems obvious to me what it means, but in case it's not. I'll try to explain.
If you say "I can't" without trying -- well, you really don't know if you could, and will likely never know.
If you say "I can't", maybe your words are so strong that you won't even try or succeed.
My Mother's comment ("Can't never tried.") stuck in my memory and I've come to treasure the thought behind it. It's a challenge. It means think BIG! It means don't pity yourself and grovel in your tears. Maybe you can't, but try.
Do you remember that famous story about the little engine (a children's story) that says: "I think I can. I think I can. I think I can."? (Maybe this is an old story that many children didn't have the opportunity to read?)"The Little Engine that Could" was asked to pull a train over a hill, and being small seemed to be an impediment. Because of his positive attitude the little engine DID do something others thought impossible. We all cheered for that cheerful little engine.
I have personally come to believe that we often limit ourselves because of our THOUGHTS. Not our abilities, opportunities, circumstances, or lack thereof.
Thanks for reading my maiden post. I appreciate your patience.

:D Great job, keep up the good work! ^^ ~Alice~
My Mother always used the same admonition or was it encouragement? I don't know what prompted me to "google" that phrase but I'm so glad I did because I found your blog. I can really relate to your description of yourself. Thank you!
You're welcome! It is certainly a good thing to meet a kindred spirit. :o)
